As we are all facing unprecedented times with the Coronavirus, we have added a prompt to the PBS American Portrait website for people to share their experiences with the virus. The intention is to invite people to share their experiences with one another in a way that promotes empathy and community rather than confusion and fear. To that end, we are introducing a new prompt to our web site, “I never expected…”. The goal is to share the sudden and unexpected ways the pandemic is disrupting normal life.
